Vermont Backyard Wedding | Emily + Daniel

When I say it rained all day for Emily and Daniel’s wedding, I mean it rained. all. day. But my favorite part about this day was that the rain didn’t damper anyone’s spirits. A lot of brides and grooms would be stressed or worried about the forecast, but E + D just embraced it and made the most of it.

I love that about these two - their easy going, go-with-the-flow spirits. This beautiful backyard wedding that took place at Emily’s parents’ house was filled with so much love. Everything about it was so unique and special to them - from having their pups included to having Daniel as the DJ, to the taco bar they had for dinner.

While working with the rain was challenging, I loved every minute of it. Everyone grabbed their umbrellas and embraced the puddles as they watch Emily in her beautiful dress walk down the aisle.

This day was filled with so many special moments. The couple’s first look, Emily being walked down the aisle with her father and step-father, her Mom helping her into her dress, the conversation she wore with her dress, and even Daniel’s face printed on her socks.

I couldn’t have loved this day more.
