High School Sweethearts Engaged — Maddie + Kyle

Maddie & Kyle met in high school and have been together ever since - I’m so excited to photograph their wedding at Boyden Valley Farms in Cambridge, Vermont this fall.

For their engagement session, we wanted to incorporate different things they love. First, their new apartment back home in Vermont after living out of state and spending a lot of time traveling. Second, their love for food. Maddie has the coolest job - she creates amazing recipes and shares them on Instagram with easy-to-follow instructions and Kyle is often her primary taste-tester. They also love finding new restaurants and going out on dinner dates.

Lastly, we wanted their photos to represent the beginning of their story - how they met in high school. They didn’t have classes together so they would request hall passes at the same time and meet up at the water fountain to chat. For part of their session, we set up a couple of antique school desks and had some fun playing around with the setup.

I love when clients instantly feel like friends, and these two are just that.
